When it comes to student digital skills, the conversation often begins with the definition – what exactly are the digital skills or the digital attributes that we are talking about? And depending on who you are talking to, the list of digital necessities will be chopped and changed – but what will remain the same is the importance of student literacy.

In 2019, the EDTL Steering Committee agreed and selected common supplemental questions to appear on the Irish National Digital Experience Survey. The questions related to student digital skills for course-related activities and for employability.
